Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using Hookbako (the "Service"). Anyone using the Service (a "User") shall use it after agreeing to these Terms.

Article 1 (About the Service)

  1. The Service is a development and testing tool that receives HTTP requests, including webhooks, and displays their contents.
  2. The Service is operated by an individual (the "Operator").
  3. The Service is provided free of charge, and no account registration is required.

Article 2 (User Responsibilities)

  1. Users are responsible for managing the inbox page URL, which includes the viewing key. Anyone who knows this URL can view, change, and delete the contents of the inbox.
  2. Users shall decide at their own responsibility what information to send to the Service. Do not send information that should be kept confidential, such as passwords, credit card numbers, or other people's personal information.

Article 3 (Prohibited Activities)

Users must not engage in the following activities when using the Service.

  1. Activities that violate laws or public order and morals
  2. Criminal activities or activities related to them
  3. Sending or storing unlawfully obtained information or other people's personal or confidential information
  4. Using the Service for malware commands or as a destination for exfiltrated data
  5. Using the Service for phishing, fraud, or nuisance activities
  6. Searching for other people's inboxes or attempting to guess viewing keys
  7. Placing excessive load on the Service's servers or network
  8. Interfering with the operation of the Service or exploiting defects in the Service
  9. Other activities the Operator considers inappropriate

Article 4 (Restrictions on Use)

If a User violates these Terms, or the Operator determines that there is a risk of a violation, the Operator may take measures without prior notice, including deleting the relevant inbox, stopping reception, or restricting access.

Article 5 (Data Retention and Deletion)

  1. An inbox and the requests it has received are automatically deleted 7 days after the inbox is created.
  2. Limits apply to the number of stored requests, body size, and the number of requests that can be received. These limits are as shown on the Service's screens and explanatory pages and may change without notice.
  3. The Operator does not guarantee that stored data will not be lost. Users should export and save any data they need themselves.

Article 6 (Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service)

The Operator may change the contents of the Service, temporarily suspend it, or terminate it without notifying Users in advance.

Article 7 (Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability)

  1. The Operator does not guarantee that the Service is suitable for a User's particular purpose, has the expected functionality, accuracy, or usefulness, or will be free of defects.
  2. The summaries, explanations, signature verification results, and generated commands and type definitions provided by the Service are for reference. Users should review their contents at their own responsibility before using them.
  3. The Operator is not liable for damages suffered by a User as a result of using, or being unable to use, the Service, except where caused by the Operator's willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  4. The Operator is not liable for disputes arising between Users and third parties.

Article 8 (Handling of Personal Information)

Information handled by the Service is governed by the separately established Privacy Policy.

Article 9 (Changes to the Terms)

The Operator may change these Terms when deemed necessary. The revised Terms take effect when posted on this page, and Users who use the Service after the change are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

Article 10 (Governing Law)

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.
